A client recently asked us to create a business card to promote his beef sales. He had a large herd of Angus and the regular market channels weren’t satisfying so he decided he’d try to sell directly to the consumer. I thought a design reminiscent of the old fruit crate labels would work best, but we both agreed printing the card on a magnet would make it a powerful sales tool. He handed out the magnets and they found their way to the freezers of customers who were reminded daily where to get the best ANGUS FREEZER BEEF. His direct sales to the consumer increased and he came back a few months later to order another 1000 magnet business cards. Maybe this is something you should try if you need to attract new customers.
